The software licence is free; the prices above are the support & maintenance subscription, per server instance. They’re the baseline for 1 organisation and 1 channel — additional organisations and channels are quoted on top. Indicative list prices; your quote confirms the final terms. Support renewal may be reviewed annually on 01 January against the Belgian harmonised Consumer Price Index. Every paid plan carries all product features; tiers differ on ticket priority, response-time targets and included instances.
What determines your price
Four factors shape your quote.
Your subscription scales with how you deploy lxr.CCN across the network. These are the inputs we size a quote against — and the ones the quote form asks about.
Class of support
Standard, Premium, or a specific SLA — the level and hours of cover you need.
Server Instances
How many active executions of lxr.CCN you run. See “What’s a Server Instance?” below.
Organisations
The administrations served — e.g. DG TAXUD, MSA1, MSA2. One organisation may span several data centres.
Channels
The network channels you connect through: SPEED2, CCN1, CCN2. (SPEED2 applies to DG TAXUD only.)
The key unit
What’s a Server Instance?
Pricing is per Server Instance (SI) — an active execution of lxr.CCN. In an Oracle WebLogic environment, that’s a deployment on one WebLogic domain without clustering, regardless of how many managed servers run in it.
One domain, everything
One WebLogic domain (no clustering) for all EU applications and all environments — dev, acc, prod.
= 1 Server Instance
Split by domain
Separate WebLogic domains (no clustering) — one for Taxation applications, one for Customs applications.
= 2 Server Instances
Clustered with replication
A WebLogic cluster where each managed server is replicated once.
= 2 Server Instances
Not the same as CPUs
A Server Instance isn’t a processor. One SI can run on a machine with many CPUs without changing the count.
One SI, many environments
A single SI can serve prod, acc, test and several dev environments — as long as they’re in the same WebLogic domain.
Why add more
Teams add Server Instances for performance (high message volumes), traffic segregation, or security.
How buying works
Built for public-sector procurement.
lxr.CCN connects to the trans-European CCN network, so it’s deployed by national customs and excise administrations — and the partners authorised to act for them. That shapes how you buy it.
Who it’s for
National Customs & Tax authorities in the EU, EFTA and acceding or candidate countries — or an authorised reseller or technical service provider acting on their behalf.
Evaluate first, free
Any eligible team can run the full product free for three months (extensible) on up to two server instances — no commitment, no card.
Then, a quote
Paid plans are set up by quote against your organisation, channels and instances — not self-serve checkout. Tell us your setup and we’ll put the numbers together.
